I find a very big lack of medium rating light armors. It skips from chitin to glass.

Any mods out there that add light armor?

The Wolf Armor from Bloodmoon is somewhat balanced alongside the standard armor. But it can also be hard to get at low levels.

There are many mods on PES that attempt to balance many aspects of the game, including armour AR. Easy to find under the "Armor" section, or by searching for "balance"

There are also many, many mods that add new Light Armor to the game. http://search.yacoby.net/search?general=%22light+armor%22&game=3&act=Search&page=1. Or just search the "Armor" section on PES to find way more.
