Light armor perk speculation.

Based on what we know about the heavy armor perks (see below)...

- Increase armour rating 20% (5 ranks)
- Unarmed attacks with heavy armour gauntlets - damage increased by gauntlets' armour rating
- Half fall damage if all in heavy armour
- Heavy armour weighs nothing and doesn't slow you at all
- Additional 25% armour if in matching set
- 25% armour bonus if all in heavy armour (not necessarily matching)
- 50% less stagger if all in heavy armour
- 10% damage reflected back to enemy if all in heavy armour

...we should be able to figure out what perks there are for light armor, more or less.

Here's what I'm thinking. :read:

- Increase armour rating 20% (5 ranks)
- Sprinting costs 20% less stamina. (3 ranks)
- Falling distance increased by 20% before falling damage is taken. (3 ranks)
- Additional 25% armour if in matching set
- 25% armour bonus if all in heavy armour (not necessarily matching)
- special resistances when wearing a certain type of light armor (fur = 5% per piece frost resistance, leather or hide = 5% per piece fire resistance, glass = 5% per piece lightning resistance, etc)
- movement speed increase by 10% (3 ranks)
- Light armour weighs nothing and doesn't slow you at all

Now I'm certain someone else has ideas too, let's brainstorm! :nerd:

EDIT: thanks to tgl1992 for reminding me (how could I forget reduced weight)

Reduce weapon and armor weight by 1 [or 2] (5 ranks)

Looks good, but personally I'd replace "Special Resistances" with a "Adds bonus damage/rate to critical strikes" similar to the "Light Touch" perk in Fallout: New Vegas. I think that'd really put Light Armor on the map for "Quick offensive" Styles like Barbarians, and/or Ambush builds like Assassins and Archers.

That's an idea, but does it really make sense to have light armor improve damage? Fits better under one-handed or sneak. I kinda focused on mobility and the fact they removed acrobatics and athletics from the skills.

- Increase armour rating 20% (5 ranks)
- Unarmed attack speed increased by light armor skill
- Doubles the falling distrance one can fall before taking damage.
- Light armour weighs nothing and reduce stamina consumption by 50% when sprinting
- 25% movement speed and jump height if all in light armour (not necessarily matching)
- Additional 25% movement speed and jump height if in matching set
- 50% chance to recover the stamina used in any action if all in light armour
- 20% chance to evade and take no damage for melee attacks if all in light armour
