I just started Morrowind about a week ago and I really like the game!

Made a new Char today cause my first one had a few wrong skills.

I play a Bretone Mag with light armor now but the stats dont show up correctly.

I have a helmet, some boots, one glove and a shild but the armor stats still say only 2 points.

What am I doing wrong?

Your armour could be possibly almost destroyed. What's the health on your armour? Check that and get it repaired because the lower your condition on armour, the less effective it will be.


If it's not that, maybe your agility attribute is drained? What's your agility at? If it is drained then go to an imperial chapel and get you attributes cured.

the contion is still 100/100 and I didnt lost any attribute points(agility is 30)

The pieces of armor are indeed light armor types?

what's your light armor skill? The armor rating is based on skill. With low skill, even the best armor will only give a few points of total AR.

I think that was the problem.

Now I have some better armor and the stat is somewere around 30 points.
