Light Armor training?

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 6:21 am

I was trying to figure out the formula for how we improve in armor skill. If you where all light armor, and they get a big hit on your health, will it improve you faster. Or is it just the big hit in general, so an attack of 60 with a weapon would yeild the same skill advancement whether you got hurt or not.

Does anyone know the answer?

Bump. 0 replies and 0 views and on the third page in a few minutes. It amazes me how many posts are being pushed into this forum.

I think your asking if larger damage hits improve your armor rating faster? If thats the case, yes the larger the hit the more your armor skill increases (read this somewhere but forgot where)... if this were not the case everyone would just tick of a group of low level bandits and let them pummel you, while you just heal yourself, and your armor rating would go up.

If you have difficulty increasing your light armor skill, consider paying a light armor trainer to train you if you have the gold.

What?

He responded to the thread title, much like many other people who cant bother to read anything.

And yes, larger hits train your armor skills more quickly. I tested this with 3 skeevers attacking me at once. On novice I checked my heavy armor skill every 10 seconds, and did the same on master. It increased much faster on master, but my skill was only at about 25 or so and I had warrior stone.
