Light OR Heavy Armor?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:56 am

Going to roll a magic using archer that uses one handed swords when he runs out of magicka. Question is....do I use Light Armor? Or Heavy Armor?

Heavy Armor looks cool as hell! Provides better protection. But! ....makes the character move slower. Yes or No? If yes...that svcks! Last thing I want is to move slow as hell! LOL

Does heavy armor mess up my sneaking so that I can do major crit damage when using a bow and arrow?

If you just care about having the best powered character go with heavy. You can get perks to get rid of the slowing effect. I personally think you should wear light because it fits the characters RP much better. That's mostly because I'm a big roleplay over powerplay kind of person though.

So you're going all offensive?

Heavy armor.

I am a Battlemage

One-handed 90

Destruction- +80 (I don't remember lol)

Heavy armor +80 (After all that time, I now have that perk that makes Heavy armor lighter than the Light armor)

Well, if you're also a mage (like me), you can use Muffle! It makes sneaking easier

If you going to use zoom and slow time perks they use stamina. 50% regen from light gives you more aiming time.

For roleplaying, light armor sounds like a better fit.

if you are not a rusher, and play with finesse, go light, armor-smithing, and enchanting, along with alchemy.

-work on every skill aspect though, and spend perk points in what you want to excel in.

learn to use muffle. dual cast it.

Yeah, just don't forget leveling combat.

Or else the enemies will also level up...
I discovered that when I got totally owned by a bandit...
