Do you get bonuses from light armor perks like Light Touch and Travel Lightly while wearing medium or heavy helmets? Do they only considor armor or also helmets, as piece of the overal armor?

theres only heavy and light helmets in game, but you get the bonus based on what body armor you're wearing.

Actually, the perk works by checking to make sure that you aren't wearing an item on a specific list. This is why it works with clothing, which technically isn't Light Armor: it's not on the list of bad armors. I'm not at my computer right now, so I can't check, and I have plans today, so I won't be able to check until tomorrow morning. However, if no one has said anything by then, I'll fire up the GECK and just do a dump of everything that is on the list, so we can see exactly what turns off the bonuses.
