I found a glitch, its hard to explain though!

So i tried out heavy for the second time when i was completing a What-If mission at level 20, it was hard as hell playing as light like i normally do. So for my weapon selection i picked the heavy auto shotty (I don't know its name but its heavy exclusive) and a Kross SMG for my side, this was in the weapon screen where you can pick presets to start a match with. After still failing the mission i decided to leave it and go online as a light again but to my surprise, i still had the heavy shotgun equipped as my main and i still had the Kross SMG as my side. So the situation was a light with a heavy weapon in its hands, i knew i was a light for sure because i was wall jumping around!

Odd isn't it? I can try to re-create the glitch and take a screen cap but who knows if i'll be able! I went back to the weapon screen from the main menu and put my Kross/Sea Eagle combo back because the heavy shotgun was getting annoying and it was insanely over powered

Do it with the minigun - it would look sooooooo cool!

And be over powered! I'll try to get a pick and upload it to photobucket or what ever, lets just hope it isn't rare, thats why i posted this actually to see if others have had it? It was on reactor, solo campaign, level 20 as operative

this might explain why i think i saw a medium guy with a mini gun???

Possibly, i carried it through like 4 matches in CCity i only changed it at the weapon screen from the main menu after the 5th match

I have heard talk of this glitch, but never seen it.

i have this glitch every game now. the only way to fix it is to leave the game and make your self a heavy then a light and repick your weps. i usealy end up with the Maximus as my main and the Rokstedi as my secondary. the other odd thing is there always rebel skinned even if im on security.

I did this and gave my light a mossington/ euston combo. Completly OP and I all I had to do was shoot the enemy team and they couldn't get out of their spawn. If I got hit, I just wallhoped and mantled, healthboosted, and came back.

yes, the game doesn't not auto switch weapons if you go down a weight class, so if you don;t switch, you can use bigger weapons. hope it gets fixed, but until it does, i think i might take a minigun to the sniper nest above the CC gate...

I didn't abuse it, the auto shotty has a weird animation and i didn't like it anyways, but you said you "did this and gave yourself..."? So you know how to command it like a GOD?

i wonder if this is in the patch thats coming up?
