Let me start off by saying that I am playing on a 22.1" iMac using Bootcamp in Windows 7 with an ATI Radeon 4670. I could try the mac client, but I had limited HD space and assumed that the Windows performance would be better. Perhaps I was wrong.
I recently downloaded the ESO beta yesterday and have played a few hours. However, I have run into some serious lighting issues that have made progressing in the game very difficult:
The game is too dark. At night, I can barely see anything, making it hard to find characters/objects. In the day time, the world is bright enough to play (though not that bright), but shadows are incredibly dark. The bottoms of water bodies are also dark and I cannot see the bottom.
I have adjusted the gamma correction, but that seems to have no effect. It is almost as if there is no ambient atmospheric light and I can only see point light sources. Other games I play do not have this problem and I have had no monitor issues.
Any help or suggestions you have would be appreciated. If this is a legitimate bug, I'm not sure how to submit a ticket.
