Lightspeed integrated into Gamebryo

Hi friends.

I just stumbled across http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/26382/Emergent_Incorporates_Sundog_Sky_Effects_Into_Gamebryo_LightSpeed.php Did a quick search and didn't find a topic about it.

Basically it's something about weather effects and such.

I thought this might be interesting as Bethesda might continue to use the Gamebryo engine for future projects, possibly TES V.

Here's a link:

Yeah I dont expect bethesda will be using any of that stuff, I'll be expecting another Oblivion engine rip off (falout 3).

Yeah, Bethesda never adds new stuff to their engines for their elder scrolls games. Especially not stuff like speedtree, havoc, or facegen.

And based on those hard facts, I don't see bethesda using LightSpeed.

Spoiler
By the way, that was sarcasm. And this is groovy. Bethesda always heads in the right direction with weather effects, but in the end it always seems a bit silly (rain falling through terraces, limited effects) maybe something like this will improve upon it.
