There are no specific save slots, but you can just create new characters and maintain your saves manually

Pc or console?

On 360 you can make different usernames and do one character per name. PS3 might be the same.

PC use NMM or MO as either one will allow you to switch characters, though the saves are in line.

Also, if you are using a PC I highly recommend http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64948/? mod.

Not only does it organize all your saves by character name, it also changes the FPS cap on the main menu to 60fps from 30.

But this is defiantly a feature I agree is lacking in vanilla skyrim.

I'm partial to http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10345/? - which just does what it says - gives you a nice little applet from which to switch save games by toon name, and the ability to set up a new profile from within it.

Yes,PS3 allows any number of separate accounts to be created, each with it's own saves.

That's one good thing that you console users get then that we pc users don't. It was a really silly thing for Beth to leave out of the game....

It's one of the things that I miss from my 360, I liked having completely different saves....but I'll trade the different mod's for it. The one I think is the most silly is the inability to make screen shot's with a console. ... having to buy outside equipment or use a phone/ camera.

Well Oblivion's Wrye Bash can offer this, but the Skyrim version doesn't I believe. NMM has the feature now..but all the other changes made it a little unfavorable. I know nothing about the Mod Organizer.

Actually, a couple days in now, I'm very much liking where NMM is now. It's enabling me to use separate mods for different girls and their games, and I still have Profile Manager for quick-starting between the ones using the same NMM profile.
