would love to see someone post their entire data folder of skyrim or oblivion maybe on a torrent of all thge mods they use and maybe let others test it on their machines or something to make it simpler to playthrough with little trial and error as it can be a pain to download them one at a time and learn later most wont play nicely!

If I read you correctly, what you want is illegal since the folders in question consist not only of mods but also Bethesda game files. Not only that, but many mod authors do not authorize their creations to be distributed by others except under specific pre-approved circumstances, if then.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

The only way to learn how to use mods in your game is the slow trial and error way. The upside is that it is ultimately rewarding.

If you want to experience the changes mods can bring without getting too complicated, I have a simple-ish suggestion. Install Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul. Just that one. Leave all the settings at default. It changes a lot. You will experience a whole bunch of welcome well-done changes to your game without installation being very complicated.

Cheers!

^ What they said.

There are many guides on how to install mods correctly, and how to avoid conflicts.
Torrenting mods is frowned upon because you are not getting the mods from the creator's upload. Which means they do not have quality control over the files. Many modders clearly say that uploading/hosting their mods in any other manner without permission is not OK. This is the very reason that sites like The Nexus exist to help the community.

And sharing Oblivion assets as you describe breaks the EULA you have with Bethesda. That's illegal.

What is common and acceptable is people sharing their Load Order here on the forum.
That way you can install the same mods that they have, and troubleshoot any problems in the thread. Every PC is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. Sharing entire folders of mods is basically pointless and saves you no time.
