Like thousands of others, I too am lagging.

Yes,yes I know what you're going to say " There's loads of threads with the same issue! Why you got to make another?" Well I believe that if the Crysis Xbox 360 section is loaded with lag complaints then Crytek will have to do something.

Now as you might've guessed, my issue is that every single game I've played online I get a red bar. Now let's troubleshoot this issue:

Is it my connection?
No,it is most certainly not my connection. I can play CoD,Halo: Reach and other popular games online with an outstanding connection. No issues whatsoever. If other games are flawless online then shouldn't Crysis 2 be the same? And if it isn't the same, then the problem lies with Crysis, right?
Well if it is not my connection then what is it?
I don't know what it is. But put two and two together: Multiplayer works fine for all other games, but svcks for Crysis. Explanation: Crysis is the problem. Simple.

So then there's some of you who are going to say " Well,I have no problem with lag! It is clearly your connection that is shagged."
So to you I say, read this post fully to see why it is not my connection. Also,to anyone who gets green bars, join 5 or so different MP lobbies. Count the number of people who don't have a green bar connection. Write that number down. Now, if you have Reach/Black Ops, check how many people who have less than a green bar connection in 5 different lobbies. Compare how many laggers there are in Crysis to how many there are in Black Ops/Reach. Then derive a conclusion from this information. Your conclusion will probably be something along the lines of "Crysis' MP is disfunctional". I know mine was, along with many of my friends.

So Crytek...I paid €50 for this game and was promised adequate MP. You are yet to deliver. Can you please fix this issue? I, along with thousands of others, would appreciate it if you did.

I doubt that people flooding the game caused this issue. I've had this issue since the demo and thought it would be cleared up in the real game. I believe that if there was a matchmaking search preference setting like Black Ops' "Locale only" then the MP would be lag free. A simple fix.

I happened to experience quite the oppsoite of you. Our internet connection is decent or worse and in other games I ususally get a bad connection, but in crysis I've had 3/4 bars all the time and never experienced lag (that was untill today, after the update it has become very laggy for me as well).

Usually its only the host that gets full bar in a lobby, so I'd like to think that Crysis don't pick the best host...

That is a problem. In other games(Black Ops) over half of the players get a full bar(<100MS ping) connection. About getting worse connections in other games...Does "other games" include Black Ops and Reach?

It's about all games that I play online. CoD4 is the exception, always giving me good connection, but yes, Reach, BO, mw2 etc. etc.

Yea I've been dealing with lag since day one. Was pretty pumped to see a update for the game when i got online, but quickly disappointed to find that lag/connectivity was not addressed.
