I have selected the MM ending and I saved the little Shaun synth. He is resting with the rest of my companions in Sanctuary, getting the random stuff he asks from his "dad" and giving mods in return. I got the Wazer Wifle, ok, but then, after a couple more runs he gave me a MISC item (not MOD) called Hunting Scope x12. It resamples a long wooden box (like the care package Carrington gives you for the escaped synths) and it does nothing.

Does anyone know what it does? Again, it is not a mod and haven't found out it unlocking some sort of new mods.
