It made fallout 3 Hela-fun, why couldn't it do the same for Skyrim? What's more satisfying than the final blow of taking someones head off, or even making it explode. Dismemberment should seriously be considered for the game. I know it makes me sound psychotic, but honestly, fallout 3 wouldn't have been half as fun if it weren't for it, and Skyrim can only benefit as a whole.

I really do not want over the top gore for Skyrim. Todd Howard even said the combat was going to be more brutal this time around, but not over the top like Fallout 3. It would not work in Skyrim.

What? Fallout 3 was all about the blood and gore of fighting, other than the amazing story. Oblivion's biggest flaw was boring combat. Would you rather go back to that. Fighting in oblivion was totally unsatisfying, fallout 3 kills were the best.

As a rare finishing move, I'd probably like to see my character slicing someone's head off, but not very often.

Fallout 3 was over the top because the weapons were over the top. I think it added to the mood of the game.
I would love to see dismemberment in tes games. It truly makes you feel like you're beating the living [censored] out of someone/thing.

It should be very rare, and only as a finishing animation. Many of the guns (talking basic firearms, anything explosive would do it) would certainly put a hole in a head, but not shatter it like in FO:3. I have no objection to a decapitation from a claymore or another big sword, but not from anything smaller than a longsword.

I would just like the ability to actually slice into people, like the ability to stab and actually have your sword sink into flesh and not just have your sword brush their skin like a feather. I think that that is the perfect amount of "gore" for TES.

well i certainly do not want to be like Chuck Norris and have my fists explode a head. Now on some zombies or skeletons sure they loose a arm yet still to fight but a living creature no thx

Well, we'll see where it goes, but a new combat system compared to oblivion is a must. And from what I've seen in the trailer, the combat is sooo much better. But as for gore, I'm not sure.
