Can anyone explain to me why the developers chose to not let me marry whoever I wanted? Or make them steward?

I'm sure that at the time this was released that they felt that they had offered plenty of choice including homosixual bonds.

MODs have made virtually everyone marriageable including one or two that allow for multiple marriages.

Probably the single most gripes that I have seen had to do with Serana and I was one early on. However, since I choose to take my spouse adventuring, I didn't care to use her in that regard, It worked out for the best for me. I ended up marrying Jordis, the House Carl from Solitude.

I believe that there are plenty of candidates for Steward.

Should have been more or choices should have been better. A good looking female mage, a bard, that blonde in markarth who adds nothing to game. Instead we get some smith out in the middle of nowhere.

The outfit that you can find in liars retreat and can be worn is not the default choice for a single spouse.

Not a problem for pc people but i wonder if there was a programmer with sick sense of humor

The lack of spouses of all races makes ME wonder what they were thinking. If I developed a game and decided to implement marriage, and started to think about what npcs should be available, having at least one female and one male npc of each race would be my top priority.

I also find it strange that
1. Not all followers can be married
2. No new spouses except the new housecarls were made available with Hearthfire
3. That when they released Dragonborn, set on Solstheim, an island full of Dunmer, ALL new marriage candidates were NORDS. :wut:
