Lines just dont cut it, I want numbers

Single player or Multi player is no excuse to hide relevant information from the player. Dual Casting and Illusions level based spells are great examples. They don't tell you what they do and you have no idea who you can cast it on. Same bloody minimalistic UI that we can't see when buffs are gone without going balls deep into another menu. There's no reason for it and it detracts from playing the game.

That there is the only "numbers" thing that I miss.
I like stats and comparisons fine too, but I can live without them. Floating numbers I definitely don't care about. What I do dislike is taking a potion of poison resistance (or whatever) and not having a tiny counter or symbol in the corner of the screen that lets me know when the 55 seconds (or whatever...) are up. Having to PAUSE the game to go into an Effects menu to check if it's still active ... talk about breaking immersion.

If i turn into a werewolf, there isnt gonna be a stopwatch magically appearing on my furry wrist to let me know precisely how long my wereform lasts.
I will simply know when i turn again.

After Oblivion, people demanded immesrion and realism, and thats what they got.
There will be no timers to notify you how long an effect lasts.

One more Real Life comparrison:

If i take a painkiller,i wont have a timer to let me know how long it lasts.
I know the drug will have lost its effect when the pain returns, and if i'm a frequent user,i will eventually learn to estimate the time it has ant effect.
Simple as that.
Thats the way Beth designed this, and a lot of other features.
Experiment,learn,then remember.
