I'm a tad bit disappointed in the choices of names, honestly.

But it is kind of a pointless gimmick, really.

At first I was like "There's no way in hell they'd have 'Sherrif' or 'Sheriff'" then I saw that they not only have [censored], they have [censored]. At that point I AM wondering where "Sheriff" is, 'cause it should be there over things they censor on their own forums.

Not to mention the incredibly lack of mundane and popular names that are skipped. Perhaps it's a regional thing, but I am lost that they don't have things like Susan, Shelly, Sherrie (Sherry), Brandon, Frank (I know they got one with and e, but they chose the longer version rather than the shorter version?)

I mean they have my actual name, which is great, but why twice? Why is Doug and Douglas not just compacted into Doug (where if you pick Douglas he would just say Doug, or perhaps the other direction since he's going to be proper). I hope to god they do that with some things that are close (for example if you type in Frank it better still use the Franke files).

Well saw a lot of fun names. Even the one for my main character is up there. Though what happens if a character has both a first and last name? Will they both be spoken or will it consider them as one name and not speak both.

Also I'm sure the first DLC to drop will be a name pack. Like Horse armor but actually useful.

Given the fact Fallout is designed by a US dev with a focus on American/western values, they wasted a complete spot with the likes of Mohammed. Really BGS? Is PC that far gone now? That slot could've been used for Fred, Arthur, Jill, Terry, Ashley, and Kyle. Hell Britney is a popular female name and no derivative of this even made that list. Guess this is the first drawback of having NPCs recognize you by your name. I sure hope a modder finds a way to unlock this list so we can edit it with our custom names when CK is released.
