I want to start a server but i heard to set u a rcon its a pain in the rear. we are somewhat a big clan,... and most of our clan has crysis2 but will not play or rent a server till a rcon is out that works. we can hav a admin all 90% of the time. So how hard is it to set up the old rcon?

I was waiting for a full rcon but it isn't hard at all. All it takes is a support message to your GSP to change the command line and then you are cool to go to use Rconnect.

Would be nice to have a new Rcon made but the person that was developing it doesn't seem to want to do it. Most of the ones I have that work you have to restart and that because it stable and most are betas. We cant further develop them because what you have or the source files are not actually the source files. Can anyone get a hold of the person that was developing it?

Anyone have a list of rcon commands that work? I am using the MPRconnect. I would rather do it from console in game.

I haven't seen a list of tried and tested rcon commands for C2 but here are the commands for C1:

Login as admin while in-game, you will need to then type the following in rcon
rcon_connect addr:[your server ip] port:[rcon port] pass:[rcon pass]
con_restricted 0

Get the list of players in the server
rcon_command status

Bans player for (ban_timout) minutes from server. [See ban_timeout]
rcon_command ban "[player name here] "

Removes player from ban list
rcon_command ban_remove "[player name here] "

Shows currently banned players
rcon_command ban_status

Ban timeout in minutes
rcon_command ban_timeout 30

Kicks player from game
rcon_command kick "[player name here] "

Kicks client with slot a slot from game.
rcon_command kickid [slot number]

Kills the player
rcon_command kill "[player name here] "

sv_gamerules
rcon_command sv_gamerules "PowerStruggle"

Change the map
rcon_command map [map name here]

Restart the round
rcon_command sv_restart

Switch to next level in rotation or restart current one
rcon_command g_nextlevel

Notify players of the next map to play
rcon_command net_next_map

Broadcasts a server message to all players in the server
rcon_command sv_say "[messag here] "

Just some Data Center maintenance. But it cant be helped and I dont know exactly when it will be back up.

Only 2 of the servers last night had people playing. Very disappointing. I lived with it and got on one. Had some guy cheating and no admin at the time LOL Anyway, I'm adding all those to my favorites as it gets update. Awesome job, Kill-Jack.

P.S. Why do you want to kill Jack? The game problems are all Ted's fault!

LOL Rage. My full name is Cpt. Kill-Jack. The dash is in there for a reason. Kill-Jack refers to kill stealing aka i jacked your kill aka Kill-Jack. I did this to a member of my gaming community and they gave me the kickname of Captain Kill-Jack and it has stuck every since. The point of this is to provide a list of servers that people can join and know there will at least at some point in the day be an admin. I myself am the only admin for my server at the moment. This is kind of hard to keep hacker free completely because its just me and im not up 24/7. But if you want me to kill Ted I can do that if he comes on my server.
