I like how they made Traits an important choice, possibly even more so than the ones from the originals.

Dunno, I miss Gifted. Although, given the way FO3 changed the system, Skilled might actually be the better choice now.

Regarding DT:
(Damage Threshold is another Fallout 1 and 2 feature I’m glad that Obsidian is bringing back. In New Vegas, armor has a Damage Threshold value. If your armor’s DT is 12 and an enemy hits you for 15 damage, you take three points of damage. If an attack does less damage than your DT number, you take zero damage.)

Personally, I think small frame and either trigger discipline or four eyes, haven't decided for a sniper type guy.

I probably won't take any traits first time around, although trigger discipline may suit my character concept. However, no matter how deliberate you are, sometimes you simply need to spray-n-pray, and I'm not sure I'm willing to suffer the downside of the trait.

What I would like to see is if I pick small frame, the game will visually show this trait off by making the character smaller in game.

I am also only going to go with trigger discipline. Next playthrough I'll probably go with fast shot because it does the opposite.

Best to save wild wasteland for future games so it still seems fresh.

Built to Destroy + Trigger Discipline + Max Luck + Finesse + Better Criticals + Hunter + Entomologist + Purifier = Unstoppable Crit Machine. With the VATS accuracy perks and the right weaponry you could become completely untouchable.

Take trigger dicipline if you're going to use Vats for a playthrough, use fast shot if you're going to use iron sights for most of your playthrough

If I intended to play with the iron sights I dont think I would use either of those traits..
just try to play naturally without any penalties..
I think trigger discipline is nice if you wanted to do sniper kills.

Trigger Discipline would also be extremely useful for people who like automatics with a lot of drift since it'll counteract that presumably in or out of VATS. Rounds that don't hit don't mean anything. It's not like Iron Sights means the bullet is going to go where you tell it to.
