I am about to upload my first file ever to the Nexus.

What my Mod does is re-add weapons from FO3 into F:NV, what I want to know is do I have to seek permission from Bethesda to do so?

Might sound like i'm being paranoid but like I said better safe than sorry

From what i've read the rule is "if it's in fallout: new vegas esm file, you can use it in your mod." but if it's not there, and it's not your work i'm afraid you will brake some rules by uploading it on nexus.

Uploading files that are copyrighted by Bethesda to the Internet is not allowed, uploading files from other mods, that you didn't make, needs the permission of the original mod's author.

It was not allowed for example to rip Oblivion ressources and use them for mods in FO3.

Just a question, but which weapons are you adding? Ive looked through the esm for NV, and a lot of content from FO3 is still there item wise.

Chinese Assault Rifle and the Regular Assault Rifle.

I know the regular is out, I had to get stuff from FO3 i'm pretty sure, but the chinese one i'm not 100% on because some files were in there

edit: just looked over the files again for F:NV turns out the regular assault rifle is in there, hmmm maybe I will be able to upload
