Just thinking of all the perks.
I just want to know what skill tree will you go for the first time round and why.

All of them?

These aren't one-character games.

I wonder if there will be a way to reset the chosen path, and go back to reselect.

However that may defeat the purpose of only being allowed 50.

I'll just see how it plays out.

Todd said we don't choose our character at the beginning.

I will probably focus on the: (on my first play through with my main character)

Illusion
Marksman
Sneak

Perk trees

50 Is a good limit, stops you from becoming overpowered and gives a purpose to replayability. It also makes you think whist levelling up as to what skills you really require.

If a hardcoe mode is included (I hope it is) maybe the perk limit should also be reduced to 25 or 35, it will really make you think then!

Well, for the character I'm planning to play, I'll definitely be getting all the Conjuration perks. Hopefully they can give my summons buffs and let me have more than one out at a time

Yeah but if an Altmer is able to kill a dragon they can't be that big and scary anyway.

In fact I might set Pingu on them and focus on marrying all the pretty girls and looting the dungeons

lol ya that's my point. i don't think we need to worry about being 'overpowered' if we're killing dragons.....high hopes for those dragons but not holding my breath.......be a real shame if it's harder to kill a giant or mammoth....

Or a mudcrab.

Obviously we can kill dragons (who had best be so darn powerful they can kill you one hit if you aren't strong enough), but by overpowered I mean to not be good at literally everything in the game. So you can't max out every skill, it's good imo

Perfect answer. A better question will be "...for the first playthrough..." then I have to see all the perks to answer that.

Anything/everything under 'Destruction.' Destruction = bad-ass.

Dragons can still kick your rear-end, dragonshouts or not. Having all the perks would make them pushovers.

I'm specializing in 9 skills, so that's mean i can get roughly 9 - 10 perks out of each. Sounds good to me.

No you won't, if there are 50 perks max it means if you average them out between 9 skills you will get 5.5 for each, seeing as how you can't have half a perk it will be 5 perks per skill.

Hence why I will be maxing out only 3 skills

They have to allow us to be able to summon more than one creature, prefereably more than two, otherwise Conjuration is nerfed for me again. They have said that the engine can render quicker and allow more characters on screen then in Oblivion so it's looking up.

Lol I'm probably going to base mine mostly in destruction, conjuration, one handed blade, light armor, restoration and if they merged acrobatics and athletics into one thing, whatever the result of that is.

If lots are the perks are just +5 percentage buff things, I will feel less inclined to specialize in 3 skills.

Well, i guess when you think about it, there's 280 perks, which is around 93 for each archetype, and my guy will be a warrior. That leaves me with 50 of about 93 perks, and i will be dual wielding axes, so that cuts down the 2 hand, sword, mace, and shield perks. I'll assume those together are around 18. I still have 25 perks I can't get, so I'll get the ones which most benefit my play style.
