Little doubts about Wrye Bash

Post » Wed Sep 14, 2011 2:05 pm

Hi everyone, I'm trying to install a bunch of mods into Oblivion using Wrye Bash, it's pretty easy to use with all the information provided, but I still have some doubts about it:

Do I have to run Boss and then rebuild Bashed Patch (ticking the new esps installed) every time I add a new mod, even if I still have a few mods planned to install, or can I just run it when I've finished installing the last one?

Im using Wrye Bash also to install many texture replacers, but when I install a patch of the same mod that overrides the same textures, how does WB solve the conflict, I've not seen any way in the program to tell it to use the last textures, and it still tells me in installers tab that i've got some files in conflict, any help on this?

Thank you!

Your question would best be asked http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1227640-relz-wrye-bash/page__st__120__p__18569459__hl__wrye+bash__fromsearch__1#entry18569459 as more people can tell you about it there.

Not every mod has changes that are merged into the Bashed Patch. If you have any mod that changes leveled lists anywhere, then yes, rebuild your patch. If it's just a small change or something that doesn't make much global changes, you should be alright.

Just make sure that the order the Bashed Patch has it's masters (merged mods) is not changed.

As for your conflicts, what ever loads/installs last wins the conflict.
