A little Fallout related thing I wrote a few days ago

I wrote this a few days ago out of boredom and fatigue, it's a very short Fallout related thing, sometimes I write random things out just to get some clutter out of my mind/ I'm British so I use British spelling and wording -

'Where once was life abundant and civilisation grew is now dust, ruins and the echoes of the dead.

Green lands give way to desolation and the planet struggles to recover from the folly of human arrogance and aggression on it's own.

What life roams these broken wastes is barely life at all, although what remains of the human race is slowly struggling to rebuild and survive, the wildlife has not fared very well.

Despite the struggles of life on a broken world however, there is a small sliver of hope that the future may be a bright one. But only a small sliver.

The hustle and bustle of a once fully populated part of the world is now largely silent with only the dust as it's most abundant and thriving population.

The dust and the wind as one harmonic chorus to the dead.

Looking down to her only solo companion, the survivour swallows back her sorrow at her long lost family, there was no point in losing herself in her grief no matter how much she wished to.

Her grief would not help her survive in this broken land.

"Let's go boy" She says softly. And with her companion at her side, the survivour heads out into the wasteland of her former home with no plan and no idea where she was headed, only survival being her focus.

And only the dust and wind are her music'

Like I said, it's a short piece. Looking forward to Fallout 4 and hoping to make my own adventure as I play.
