Little Ones in Skyrim?

Post » Sat Sep 25, 2010 2:05 pm

You aren't alone! Though in TES rules a Khajiit father and Imperial mother would have Imperial children. Vice verse if it was an Imperial father and Khajiit mother it would be a Khajiit child.

I do wonder if the various forms of Khajiit are obvious at first, or if they are born and then grow up into whatever form they will have. Do the phases of the moon apply outside of Elsweyer when Khajiit are born as well?

Actually, as far as the lore goes, it isn't known whether the beast races can produce offspring with men or mer.

Just pointing things out.

The children in little lamplight was annoying and designed to be so, the rest was a nice addition, yes they has to have a special code part, always run away if attacked (thing annoying fan) and made so enemy is not interested in a long chase so they don't end up with a tail of enemies chasing them to the end of the map.
This code would also be nice for other non combat essential npc. Found it pretty idiotic that you got npc who atacked enemies, was knocked down want up and down the next second.

I'm of the opinion that populating a nonsensical landmark with incredibly irritating little [censored] that are immortal and unavoidable while I'm carrying a plasma rifle was downright cruel.

It is since Barenziah is warned about getting pregnant with an Imperial or Khajiit in The Real Barenziah. I'm not sure of the source of the "child takes the race of the mother" thing but I know I've seen it a few times on these boards.

They lose their baby-tusks, of course!
Although it's probably closer to wisdom-teeth age, since full-sized tusks would probably set a seven-year-old off balance.

I am absolutely okay with children in Skyrim, but if there is a SINGLE child as annoying as ANY of the kids in Little Lamplight, I will PUNCH MY COMPUTER.

With the partially-confirmed ability to scale parts of your body, it seems like having minors of all ages in the game might be very easy from a dev's point of view... I mean, the technology to scale body parts is already there, they just have to set the proper number. So I wouldn't rule out teenagers.

And, being seventeen myself, I'd like to have at least ONE character that is close to my own age...

Lol. Yes he was a demon, with abs for some reason. A perfect and satisfying way to get into the dark brotherhood is to purge that kid.. I mean demon

Anyways I just hope the children arn't as annoying as those fallout 3 kids.

Emma's Children of Morrowind was a masterpiece of a mod. It didn't just add children. She had them skipping along, playing, walking along walls, she also added little playgrounds, archery targets for teenagers (the kids were not all just one age). The total life added to Morrowind just from that one mod was incredible. If the Devs can do half of what Emma did with Morrowind it will be a great addition to the game.

WOW that sounds really cool! Even teenagers (as much as I find them annoying in real life....no offense to any in the audience) I'd love that, I guess I could even stand the younger tikes, If they implement more than babies to advlts (though they may be able to walk at 4 I still call them babies) it wouldn't be so bad at all.

Adding annoying obnoxious kids will detract from the experience, unless I can kill them.

Although little argonians and khajiits sounds really cute lol... hope i can have them as pets.
