It's really as simple as the title.

An unusually small dragon(not a baby) about the size of a hawk, that befriends dragonborn and can accompany him/her on his quests. It can be commanded to do things like fetch specific objects, or do a reconnaissance flight, where it comes back to report enemy positions or undiscovered locations,(updating your map) etc. It can sit on your shoulder, head or hand when not flying. In combat it can disarm opponents, and is unusually fast, but fights similar to a regular dragon, with weaker or perhaps slightly stronger thu'ums (to keep things interest).

It isn't a [censored] novelty dragon. It could be(preferably) extremely intelligent, extremely old, and extremely wise and has survived this long because it is small and can easily hide. You can have lengthy conversations with it.

Would anyone else want something like this?

I don't tend to use followers so much, but I wouldn't actually mind a dragon helper.
