Well I don't see the magic. I haven't been... converted. Is that good or bad?

The sad thing is, (sad being subjective) the more people enter the thread to talk [censored] about the ponies, the more people get drawn in. It's insidious. Oh well. I will not surrender to this pony plague. But I sure have fun watching the resistors fall and get all starry eyed.

Your time with come, Jag. . . Your time will come.

It's bad that you haven't seen the magic, but it's good that I've seen how much hotter your avatar got, so it's all good. I urge you to watch the rest of that episode though! If you're a tough nugget, skip straight to 15 like me!

Jesus.... Christ. You just watched it. I forever cast you out of the towers of the logisters, and halls of the mentats. I'm sorry, but the corruption is insidious. There is no debate, the tribunal will be here soon to discuss your eventual fate before you morph into one of them. Possible brain samples will be gathered and a barrage of increasingly inane psychology tests will be administered while your hooked up to an MRI so we can see how the show affects people. Your already changing, I know right now your probably going to insist your fine. That you've forgotten about it, but I assure you that's one of the chief symptoms. Curiosity will soon set in, and then you take another "magical trip" as dem kids be speaking. I'm sorry, but my hands are tied. They want answers, and you just so happen to have been the fool. Expect the black van, and not the friendly moderator one. :batman:

All joking aside, I know just the person who can make this latest silly BSF fad come to an end and I know just what he must do.

you've obviously mellowed out some.. I'd call that clear evidence of the show's theraqeutic values and qualities :)
Maybe not a clean conversion, but slightly swayed perhaps

btw, do you guys realize this stuff is making me go all soft??

edit:

doubtful, since it's Veeno. :teehee:

I did watch the first video all the way through and I don't get what all the fuss is about. It's a cartoon. There are millions of those. As far as they go, I much prefer Yellow Submarine.

Yes. I can only picture poor Mr. Simpson being morphed into a pony, not a Borg.

Gamgee, you rebel, you! :P

The Coalition won't stand for such opposition. We shall call forth a meeting of our own. . .

Right brothers and sisters, we have gathered here today to discuss the fact that there is a set of traitors plotting our downfall! What to do?! Oh and, new rule, all posts henceforth must start with the phrase "According to the prophecy..." Don't ask why.

I'm crazy man, don't make me do something insane. I sent my own friend into deaths doors to get a sample... he never came back the same. Now he has a pony avatar... and speaks of it with my other friend. These are real life people god dammit! It's mutating and spreading... I'm not afraid to sacrifice a few people to learn of a cure. Not true science, but we don't have time. This infestation is worse than a zombie outbreak.... or the localized strain of Talimancers I've studied on the Bioware forums.

Being scientifically curious about it doesn't cast me out of anything. However, saying that my hooked up to an MRI and that my already changing and that my probably going to insist that my fine just could do that to you.

Not gonna happen, squirt. :toughninja:

-I'm lucky that my viewing is filtered and tempered through the actions of a five year old whom I watch it with.., so it feels like I'm not getting hit by the full force of it..

otherwise I probably would've been drooling uncontrollably by now

You could always watch it online if he isn't around.

*Andy sits at computer late at night with the lights off, and eyes glued to the screen when son walks in*

"Daddy, what are you doing?"

*Andy pulls the monitor plug*

"NOTHING, SON!"

"I can't sleep."

"I'll tuck you in later, buddy."

"Okay."

*When son leaves, Andy turns the laptop back on to watch videos of nice, pink, tattooed, beautiful haired, pretty-eyed. . . ponies and unicorns.*

It's too late. Your infection is already spreading, and the sad ironic thing is. The more the uninfected people alienate you, the more likely you are to join them... the ponies. I don't suppose you can just agree to these tests? There's a chance we can cure you and make the world right again. Anyways it matters not, I'm off to this meeting of the minds. Goodnight, and hopefully you can fight through this. It would be a miracle if we could find someone with a natural immunity, but alas. I have previous experience with another strain of this virus. One "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends", while it got big in a localized group online. It never... spread, it wasn't this infectious among advlts. The young and old though? Didn't stand a chance against that pure weaponized type of humor. It was too late for me to counter such a small strain, time ran it's course with it. This new show is much more devious and insidious. Would put Palpatine to shame, did as a matter of fact. It seems to even defy the laws of the force. Lauren Faust is quite the mad scientist when it comes to this sort of thing, but we shall prevail.

For some reason it's hard to take things seriously when a guy with a hot-chick avatar talks about what is and isn't masculine. :P

"Watching porm, son!!!"

Fixed.

Count how many times exactly you have said/written that word and how many times I have said/written it and then tell me who is the infected one.

I don't see the problem. Why shouldn't I want to be able to see a hot girl dancing whenever I post something? It's convenient.

Dimwitted? Hahahaha no.... like any Saturday morning cartoon villain I will reveal my fiendish plans. I plan to weaponize the cute contained in the show on a level previously unimagined. This innocent looking video is merely a hidden video for our orders. It's what a hypothetical C-Bomb would cause. http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/556312 We just need to make ourselves immune to the effects, unfortunately once the Pony infection spreads a general reduction in intelligence occurs in temporary bursts. Prepare for the new world order, with the Logisters and Mentats ruling the world. No nation would like to suffer the fate as in the above video, we have discovered a power beyond mere explosive force. Muahahaha.

Uh, I haven't been kicked out of anything, unless getting a migraine from Gamgee's nonsense counts as getting kicked out of something.

I don't feel the need to watch the second episode. I have seen the first and I get it - there's ponies, they replace the word "body" with "pony" and apparently they're all female. If the... "cliffhanger", as it was referred to, at the end was supposed to make me want to keep watching, it has failed. It's a cartoon for kids, how the [censored] do you think it's going to end ultimately?!

Of course you don't. Your riding on the cute high from the first episode, give it a few hours and the craving sets in. The curiosity, that's how it always begins. Then the next week. BAM! [censored] bronie out of left field.
