Ponies are awesome. Well, and the new series one of those rare and mostly stereotype-free and well-written kids shows that really also tick with the advlts.

And the last thread on it here got closed because, well, many things were already discussed and the internet became the internet again, which it really isn't allowed to here. ^_^

My son swears by MLP, and made me promise to watch over the MLP's we seem to have acquired here as of late. :rolleyes:

Now, since I love my son deeply, and try to honor his wishes whenever they don't make a total fool of me, I agreed.

A little of both. To sum it up very briefly, a new MLP cartoon series was recently made, by someone who wanted to buck some old stereotypes and also make it something parents could enjoy watching with kids. Many consider it to be a well-made and enjoyable show, but it was still rather obscure, and got some cult-following status. Other people felt it necessary to harass them for watching it, and the fans found it entertaining to tease those people right back by ponying everything, everywhere. So people genuinely like it, AND there are gags going on.

Watched the show(first few episodes) was okay, just not something I can get into. Not a bad show, I mean I can see some people liking it regardless of age.
