Yeah. I only found the show around episode 17, so it makes it a lot easier to start watching a show when you can catch up from the beginning.

Also, am I the only one who thinks the Earth Ponies are at an evolutionary disadvantage? Imagine living in a society where 1/3 have dangerous horns, 1/3 can fly, and you're just a normal person.

I went and got some Pony toys yesterday. I got a Celestia 5-Pack that comes with the (hideous) purple Celestia. I am most definitely going to be painting her white, and maybe bling out her hooves. I am displaying them proudly on my shelf, and my family thinks I'm weird(er) because of them. I am probably going to create a poster in photoshop and hang it on my door. I never realized how many projects this show could make me do!

Yeah that is true, Earth ponies are suppose to have a special ability with the earth or something, but I don't see how it compares to flying or unicorns. The unicorns are really over powered because if they are powerful enough they can have levitation spells and fake wings.

Watched some more of it, all the characters are cute and all I was genuinely laughing(more like giggle) at some of jokes/humor. I don't think I can be as into as everyone else but it's not bad.

Unicorns aren't over-powered. Unicorns all have an affinity for a specific magic (Rarity and her ability to find gems). Twilight's affinity is for magic, which is why she can do all sorts of awesome spells (and copy Rarity's gem spell). 99.999% of unicorns are incapable of doing anything but one cool spell and some basic magic (levitate books).


Rarity really develops later. After Fluttershy she probably develops the most as a character. I think she's my favorite (along with Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and not-Applejack )

My favorite main character would still have to be Fluttershy. She's just so cute! But my favorite side character is without a doubt, the fabulous, Photo Finish.

And my favorite non-existent character is Pony Hawke. :dance:

I'm looking forward to it as well. I'm a bit worried that it may not live up to our expectations, although I hope that it "Knocks our socks off". The suspense is killing me! I hope the DVD's will be out by then too.

I've only seen four episodes and I'm already wanting a Season 2. I'm also surprised that I'm more interested in the story and how the characters develop rather than how funny the jokes are. 'Tis the sign of a very well made series.

You might like it if you watch some of the later episodes, the quality of the story picks up. But if you've watched five and you didn't enjoy it, you might not like the rest, either.
