Little things that annoy you

Easiest way, Mr Molotov. If you catch them at some distance, since they always come in hordes.

It took them 7 years to make this game? That's hilarious. It's almost like the Duke Nukem of jokes.

Uhm, isn't it that flares summon other nearby Minutemen to aid you? While it takes an artillery spotting smoke grenade to call in artillery support? (Provided you are within artillery support range.)

Poor word choice on my part, yes.

I should have specified that I meant "artillery smoke grenades".

- permanent dead bodies in settlements

- no key ring

- hacking in general (was annoying enough in fallout 3 and N, I was so pissed they didn't update it)

- Female bodies can't be made a sixy as other NPC females (especially in the hindquarters region)

- the choice for guns to be left handed

- the limited crafting options for melee/unarmed weapons

- companions getting in the way

- companions fightin like suicidal maniacs

- settlement defense issue

- settlement construction placement issues

- local map svcks and is useless

- Companions that are literally sitting on top of you and all you can see is the muzzle of their gun! Give me some SPACE for crying out loud!

I wish we would still have the companion menu, where you could actually tell them to stay back a few feet!

- NO KEY RING! The whole MISC. section in the inventory is utterly annoying

- Wish we had a search feature for the workbench and inventory. All that scrolling is annoying

- I love building settlements but the SNAP to function really gets to me, especially when I want to place walls a certain way, but they always snap the wrong way! (most of the time the snap function is great though)

- Getting to a settlement and all power items show a RED lightning bolt, saying they need power basically, when I have over 50 power and everything is connected... What? The lights are on, so obviously there's power!

- Oh and yes, I would love the ability to clip everything in a settlement. Not sure why that isn't the case, really.

- Another settlement thing: I can't really decorate, since most of my stuff falls through the furniture (shelves, tables) and even through the floor, if your building is elevated.

- Someone said it earlier... Exiting PA, while trying to drag items - same key. Highly annoying! LOL

- I want to throw a grenade, but instead I am bashing air with my gun... while 3 raiders shoot at me... NICE *rolls eyes*

- Oh don't even get me started on the local map, what a joke! lol

There are a number of annoying things, but I think the way ammo was handled is the most annoying. I mean like my 10mm bullet from a semi-auto does two to three times as much damage as a 10mm bullet fired from an automatic? REALLY?!? I can build up my combat rifle to about 70 damage fairly easily, but if I make it auto, the damage is topped out at about 30? Imagine a .50 cal projectile from a heavy machine gun doing less damage than a .38 from a revolver... I know it's game mechanics, and designed so that we can have the sound and fury of automatics without gaining the devastating firepower, but... DAMN!

I wonder if a .223 from an automatic would actually restore health in the target...

Whenever you pull out a 44 revolver, your PC always spins the barrel like he/she's ready to play russian roulette

Lining up a sweet 95% shot in VATS, only to hit a railing or for some other reason the shot never makes it

When you reload a save where you have a tamed enemy, upon loading the save your character will re-attempt to tame it and if failed, it becomes hostile

Tamed enemies glitching out for no reason and becoming hostile, then suddenly becoming friendly again in mid-fight

1. The fast travel system, which is a complete freebie. As perks are there to rid you of what you find annoying, maybe fast travel should be perk based as well? Such as:

Rank 1: Can now fast travel between your settlements.

Rank 2: Can now fast travel between any known settlements.

Rank 3: Can now fast travel between any know major hubs.

Rank 4: Can now fast travel from any known location.

Rank 5: Can now fast travel from indoor areas.

Maybe agility based?

2. Component view not available everywhere.

3. Missing companion weight/encumbrance level and other stats.

4. Need mods for item sorting, which are not perfect anyway.

5. Too short names allowed for renaming armor and weapons.

6. "Map updated". Sorry, what is this update about, and where?

7. No chronological sort (see also 4), which holotape did I just pick up?

8. Inability to see proper equipment stats (I think a mod allows this, but I haven't tried it yet).

9. Important messages that drown (settlement xxx is under attack), and you fail because you didn't know.

10. Companions walking in front of you in a firefight, and have no respect for personal space.

11. Weather - way too often thunder and fog, where is ultralight rain, just overcast, and light fog?

12. Weather - fog is so damned bright it actually hurts. I'm spending a lot of time just waiting/sleeping it out.

13. Having to use console commands to fix bugs. Let's just say I'm not using night vision anymore at all.

Makes me wonder why the hell I'm even playing the hell out of this thing :D

I can't collect the last issue of Guns 'N Bullets because it's locked in a basemant for which I need a key and the @$$hat that has the key disappeared from my game world before I even knew he existed. Wish I had a PC powerful enough to run this game. I just realized that doesn't really qualify as a little thing. Bobby pins breaking during a long play session sometimes makes me put my controller down to go cool off. Last night I finally snapped and unlocked the last level of Locksmith. I wasn't planning on unlocking it until I ran out of Perks to take since I always have tons of bobby pins but just got sick of the noise of them snapping during my extended play sessions whilst rushing through certain areas.

.....when I order a poutine (that's french fries, cheese curds and hot gravy for those outside of Canada) and they put WAY too much gravy on.

Or cold gravy.

Or too much gravy, which is also cold.
