Ok so I just installed morrowind on my computer (windows 7, if that's important) and have run into a rather annoying issue. While playing the game, a piece of a window (i.e. a window from the windows operating system) keeps popping up in the upper righthand corner and then disappearing. It is extremely annoying so any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Turn off the windows gadgets sidebar -- it has a tendency to take away focus from the games every few minutes when it updates one of the gadgets causing it to show up on top of the game screen - so best to close it before starting a game.
