Though I doubt this would ever happen for obvious reasons, what would you guys think about being able to shoot/hack off someone's limbs in Fallout while they're still alive, thus severely handicapping them?

What obvious reason? [Technical or credibility reasons?]

IMO limbs should be sever-able, and replaceable with cybernetics ~if acquired~ or with conventional prosthetics.

*Or with chainsaws.
