Load Order Comb-Over

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping for a little guidance and clarity regarding my load order. Thus far from the testing I've done while making this build of oblivion, things have been running smoother than ever before, to ensure the game continues with clear sailing, I'm hoping a few experts could look over my load order and make note of anything that sticks out as wrong.

Second, I'm now running exceptionally low on mod slots, and with a dozen or so mods I have bookmarked due to come out just over the horizon, I am in the process of trying to find things to get rid of or Merge with Gecko.

In this load order can any of you see things that can be safely merged, and if so, what would you recommend for the priorities? I'm thinking about merging most if not all the UL patches, and I've read some posts a while back with mixed feelings on this, in my own past experience I've been able to merge a limited few with success.

Extra wounding
The order looks good to me, except don't you need CURP or the other resource pack for OMG? Doesn't FCOM OMGSRT replace FCOM OMG?

Stuff you could consider removing:
  • Loth's blunt weapons
  • Not sure Fizzle makes sense with all the other magic plugins you've got.
  • Replace the two FCOM more random with FCOM Stronger
  • You can always go through and weed out nice little additions that you could live without - Better Letters, that kind of thing.

Thanks, could you explain why I can do without extra wounding? and OMG 5.1 does not require it, I believe the 6.XX ones do though. If I remember correctly, the FCOM guide and BOSS log seemed to have conflicting reports on what to do with FCOM SRT and FCOM OMGSRT.

Would I remove Loths Blunt weapons because they only add a small number when Arma and other mods add so many? Or was there another reason? and what is FCOM Stronger, I dont know if I've encountered that, unless you mean Stronger Respawn. If so how does that do what the two more random do?

  • Extra wounding is just one of those extras that, if you are getting desperate for ESP slots, could be easily dispensed with.
  • I am pretty sure that you choose either FCOM OMG or FCOM OMGSRT, but not both.
  • Yes, I'm suggesting that you could save a slot by ditching Loth's, since you have Arma (the same probably goes for Bob's Armory). Matter of preference.
  • FCOM stronger respawns reduces the amount of spawns but makes the remaining ones stronger. I just prefer it to the Random plugins after having been advised over that way in the FCOM thread. Just an alternative to consider if you're looking to open up slots.
  • As for OMG itself, you're best off using the 6.1 version along with Dragon Captions' CURP. You're almost bound to run into problems with the version you've got.

As far as I'm aware, the patch is still necessary. I use it.
