1 thing Must be changed in skyrim is yeah you guessed it! Loading times, everytime you enter a door, or cave With a door! (sounds wierd) you needed to wait for it to load. it ruined some of the game flow.

and took tons of gameplay hours (free time). if you consider every loading screen you had in oblivion, and combine it, to comes to 3-5 hours in total of loading time (if you did everything in game)

anyway i really hope that if you enter/exit a house there wont be loading times.

enter/exit caves no loading times.

can anyone confirme anything that has been improved in loading times in skyrim?

The load times in Oblivion didn't really bother me, to be honest. The load times don't seem to be any worse than oblivion from what I've heard.

Sorry, not going to happen. Either have a crappy RPG or have loading times.

I would rather have 3 second load times like Oblivion had than no load times with Wii graphics.

you want a no loading screen seamless game world? well then have i got a solution for you build a time machine and skip ahead a great number of yours possibly 20 years. perhaps then there will be advanced enough technology to create a seamless full 3d 16 mile world with hundreds of models locations items and program routines running as well all in great detail.

Yea you found the problem!! have one :cookie: seriously though there are many other things they could try to improve on that will make bigger difference instead of just removing the loading.

I understand where you're coming from with this, but I don't think the engine or an Xbox or PS3 could handle everything at once.

It's gonna be better in Skyrim. Those loading times will have 3D objects you can fully anolyze and much more interesting loading times too so it's not really 'wasted' time :)

But in all seriousness... Load times are a part of open world games. Just the way it is. I'm just glad that the OP didnt ask for 'paint time' during loading like another forumer lol

I was more pointing out how the Wii is the only 7th gen console that has no load times for most of its games, but in my opinion the graphics tradeoff isn't worth it.

Also, my reason for not playing Minecraft is because it's typical Indie shovelware.

I just hope they don't pad the loading times because they think their loading screen is snazzy. ME2 had some decently long loading screens, that were well lame to look at. If you took out the loading screen movie, the loading time was almost non existent. So as long as they don't do that, I am fine with it.

Want shorter load times? Contact your Microsoft or Sony representative and demand more memory in the next gen console.
Don't want to wait 3-4 years for the next console? Get a PC. My games have 30sec initial load times (because of huge texture mods) and 2-3 sec loads there after until i turn the game off. I got to enjoy the loading screens in MW on my Xbox but It's taken me nearly 800 hrs each to read all of the loading screens in OB and FO3 because i need like 6 seconds to read one.

Yea loading screens allow you to toy with 3d objects so you won't be entirly bored. The longest load time i had was probably 3 min, thats cause i had a ton of saves tho.

P.S that was on my PS3
