Loading Screens. . .

Post » Sat Dec 17, 2011 10:05 am

So, I've got a pretty fast computer, and I never seem to have enough time to read all the text on most loading screens (and I'm a somewhat fast reader). On PC, are the loading screens just stored as image files in a directory somewhere I can go try to re-read them? The only thing I'm worried about that is that perhaps some of the loading screens might be intended to only be seen at a certain point in the quest or world, and might contain spoilers. Is there some guide which tells which loading screens are "safe" to review even if you haven't finished all the quests and been everywhere in the world?

IIRC in Oblivion the text on loading screens was written in a part in the CS, and layered over the pictures in-game, so I would assume Skryim works the same way.

Only way I could think of that you'd be able to see them without the CK is if someone took a screenshot of every single one, but that would be a tedious task indeed.
