the game takes place in skyrim and skyrim is full of nords so ill let you fill in the rest of the pieces. :) this is almost a no brainer to be in the game.

Just as long as drinking alcohol will impair speech, movement, speed, and fighting ability. Also, if one is clearly drunk, NPCs should respond to you differently like "Go away you lightweight!" or also talk back in drunk speech, if they're also hammered.

Also, drinking games. Gotta prove you have hair on your chest by showing off how much more of a nord you are to the rest of the native population. If there's a way to gain respect, it is by being able to drink with or better than the best drinking in all of Tamriel. The dunmer drinks will be worse than swill in comparison.

Oh, and "alcoholic" would never be used to describe a person, only drink to the nords.

i would love if that happened. at least in the STALKER games if you drank vodka your combat effectiveness and vision suffered. nothing happend much in oblivion except some very minor stat changes.

Honestly I am now expecting a lot more in the game. It never really hit me that this is a more viking like game and that should mean more alcohol reference.
