Locating a mod item using CS

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:50 pm

Hi

I am playing through the mod Ayleid ruins expanded and I am stuck in the Bel Vabria dungeon because I can't find the right keys. I think they should be in the previous ruins. Is it possible to use CS to locate the position of a dungeon key added by a mod? If so, what are the basic steps involved? Which pages or tabs do I need to look through? Thanks for any answers.

You must load Oblivion.esm and the .esp of the mod in the CS and then using the "Cell View" windows load the interior cell you need.
Once loaded, in the right panel of the same window you will see a list of all the objects in that cell.
Here you should find the key you are searching.
You can double click on it and you will see the object highlighted in the view window.
Or in the "object window" click on the Items/Key section in the left panel of the window and search for the key in the right panel.
When you find the key right click on the name of the key and click on "use info" and lastly double click on the "used in these cells" section.
This will open the cell in the view window
