Locating Official Add-Ons?

Post » Sun Feb 15, 2015 9:19 am

I recently purchased the TES Anthology containing GOTY editions for Oblivion for PC. According to UESP, that includes all the Add-Ons except Fighters Stronghold - http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Official_Add-Ons

I have installed both discs. The only installations were Oblivion.esm, Knights.esp and DLCShiveringIsles.esp. The Data window confirms same.

How do I locate the other DLCs that are supposed to be on that disc?

Have you tried to search for exe files on both discs?

I have all DLC for Oblivion including the Fighter's Stronghold and every DLC comes as an exe file, which needs to be installed one by one just as you install tools, games, programs etc in Windows.

Just press the WinLogo key and R at the same time to bring it up then browse for the DLC you want to install.

You need to activate the game on Steam.
You can play the game without Steam, but to get the add-ons you will need a Steam account and play Oblivion that way.

edit: I haven't installed my anthology version yet... So perhaps Leonardo is correct

The only executable is setup on either disc. Disc 2 did install SI and Knights, so why not the others?

@Leonardo, seriously? On a Bethesda anthology?

Does that then permit more to be installed off that same disc?

This is from some release notes:

So it is as I thought. You can play Oblivion without Steam if you want, but you need Steam to get all the add-ons.

Morrowind content is all on disc, but you can use the Steam version to save your disc if you want.
Skyrim requires Steam, and you get all the DLC from there.

Your Steam code is on the pamphlet that has the warranty info.
