Locking Up

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 11:05 am

For some reason, FNV locks up REALLY easily, and for no discernable reason. I'm quite far along in the game (I just completed Lonesome Road), and rather suddenly it's started locking up after 10 minutes or so of play time. I only have a couple saved games, and they're not very old (I deleted all of the old ones). I don't know if it has something to do with completing Lonesome Road or what, but it's frustrating and has become unplayable. Thanks!

I had this problem once before because of old saves but that only ever happened before the patch that optimized saves. It's odd that this would be happening to you now. It would be easier to help you if you mentioned which platform you are on and this should probably be moved to the hardware/software issues section.

It's PS3. I have the patch, too. Sometimes, it locks up randomly. Other times, especially after fast travel, it slows down so much that it's unplayable.

A moderator moved this to the wrong forum. This is for PC versions.

PS3 is here http://www.gamesas.com/forum/114-fallout-new-vegas-playstation-3-issues/
