I started playing the standard disk. I liked it so much I purchased the Game of the year version. Now when I try to fast travel to Rivet City the screen goes black and the controler locks up. This only happens in the Rivet City area. I tried going to FT to a near by city and it worked, but when I emerged from the subway tunnel the screen went a shade darker ( could still see things) and it's locked at this save point stalled. What can I do? Am I screwed. One thing I thought was odd was when I put in the new disk it had to update again. Should I put in the second DLC disk in to see if it will fix the problem. Should I try to get the old disk back. I have a lot of hours into this game and don't want to start over again. Please help!

Im afraid not too many people have this problem. My GUESS would be to uninstall the updates then re update it, install the game. If all else fails, may god help you.
