Whenever I try to lockpick something, I don't get my bobby pin and screwdriver. I have to play it by sound in order to unlock this. Anyone know a fix to this?

Unfortunately, I have the same problem and don't know how to fix it.

The only fix I know of is to change screen resolution. This bug persists on resolutions like 1280x1024; 5:4 or 4:3 screen ratio.

You need resolution which's not a 5:4 or 4:3; for example, if your default resolution was 1280x1024, try manually setting 1280x800 in windowed mode.
