I prefer Skyrim's. I remember using 30 lockpicks per door in Oblivion, and when I played FO3 for the first time I just loved the new system.

Skyrim's cause I got used to it during FO3/FNV.
When I tried oblivion's I wanted to die.
EDIT- I'm picking the third option just cause.
Oblivion. Basically just because of the nostalgia. Albeit I do enjoy Lockpicking in Skyrim.
Morrowind... Character skill ftw. At least Oblivion had an auto-attempt option and Open spell.
That said, I enjoyed Skyrim minigame more.
I prefer Morrowinds actually. It never made any sense to me that my 'real life' skills made a difference in whether or not my character 'in game' could open a lock or not. Add to that the fact that the latest version (Skyrim) is so dang easy. My low level warrior should not be able to open a Master lock ... and yet he can.
Oblivion because it was actually challenging and more of a game.
I prefer Oblivion's as it involved a bit more skill to time each tumblers movement & there were consequences if you failed an attempt depending on your skill. Also, you had the option to auto attempt, when you weren't in the mood.
In Oblivion I always use the auto-attempt because I really don't get how it works So I prefer Skyrim's.
Oblivion because:
-Lockpick
OR
Lockpick Spell
And in Two Worlds 2, there are three ways to open a lock
-Warrior can break the lock
-Rogue can lockpick the lock
-Mage can magically open lock
Or you know rogue can break a lock, etc.
Skyrim only has one way, lockpick. And that's why it svcks.
Skyrim. I'm having a hard time getting it to Legendary rank #2..
