LOD disappears before Object Loads...

Greetings.

I'm not sure what is causing this problem, I've never had it before... My distant objects look great. Only problem is when I approach the object, the LOD/_far mesh disappears before the actual mesh takes it's places... Once I get closer... the object fades into view... CRAZY! Any thoughts on this issues would be great appreciated.

Normal game behavior.

Either turn up the object draw distance or deal. There's no real way to address this, it's a limitation of the Gamebryo engine.

Thanks for the quick reply...

However why is it that this behavior is exibited on on certain objects and not others? Most objects around the ones that are not appearing properly generate as expected. It seem to be only select meshes that this is occurring with. Seem more could be at working here then just game limitations...

As far as I know it only happening in the mod I'm currenly working on if that helps.

Some smaller Objects sometimes don't pop in as far away so there is a gap between them disappearing as LOD and entering as full detail objects. Its a pain in the ass, but there's nothing that can be done about it.

Yep. Oblivion's "middle distance" is infamous. I know it gets my goat, and does unmentionable things to it...
