LOL @ Legionary Raid Camp

Post » Sun Nov 07, 2010 1:35 pm

It's been a long time since I completed the quest for this location, and I just now randomly went back to it to get to another undiscovered mark that is close by. The legionaries had respawned, obviously, so I killed them and the two powder gangers were running around, cowering in fear. After the Legionaries were dead and the dust had settled, the completely free PGs returned to their captive position, complete with holding their hands like they were tied XD

Odd thing is, if you kill the power gangers while they're tied up, you get negitive karma. However if you free them and then shoot them down while they're running, you get positive karma. Think of it as target practice lol :gun: :ahhh: :ahhh:

I freed one of them, and then the second one started running around before I had freed him.

Unlike some other quests, it didn't seem to me that freeing one would free them both, but maybe I missed that.

So anyway, then I went up to the second one who was running around, and I "freed" him according to the menu options while he was running around.

Obviously this quest has some serious problems :P

Yes, this happened with me too.

Spoiler
I had freed two of them on a previous visit and when I returned to hunt for Nightstalkers, the missing guy was walking in the desert and went to the campfire, knelt down and tied his hands. Then another one came back and did that too. I tried to interact so I could free them but the quest had ended and it wouldn't let me. I felt bad. They're probably still there like the guy cowering in the alleyway with all the nukes in Fallout3. :(

First time I did this, a Legion Assassin squad attacked before I actually freed the prisoners. Failed the quest because they dies in the ensuing firefight.
