In http://images.uesp.net/4/4e/SR-ForestHunt_wLegal.jpg we have antialiased grass. I'm completely ignorant on XBOX capabilities, does it supports FSAA?

1,280px × 720px so Xbox probably :)

Well to be honest almost every screen looks very similar, and i know that Tod said that" The pc version of Skyrim will look much better, it will have high rez texture more options to tweak" so i can't see that some pc picture looks " a lot better" than some , every picture seems same now i am afraid that the pc version will look almost the same as the xbox360 :(

blahblah

Is it bad that we want to see pics of Skyrim running at best on a PC?

Inflamatory post reported. Next time, remove that chip off your shoulder before talking.

Sorry i find it kinda funny really. You have alot of PC user's saying the graphics aren't up to scratch etc, then as soon as you here there are some PC screens actually there, you turn around and say....you know what....it looks pretty good actually. Some people crack me up,they really do. It was obvious some of the screens were for PC,the shadows in some them are a complete give-away.

Yeah, that.

Sure, PC games can have great graphics these days. It's why I just got one. But that CAN'T be an in-game screen shot... seriously?

...compared to other shots. People are noting how, upon closer inspection, some shots seem to have a few less jaggies, possibly less pixellated shadows, and maybe a resolution slightly higher than the 360 version handles, but hardly anything that's "way better". No one has said the purported PC shots are "up to scratch" for a PC game, and a few people have said that this doesn't bode well for the PC version if we've been unable to easily tell the difference between the 360 and PC shots.

Trollolololololol xD
Funny to me because I know a PC fan boy who plays :tes:
So now the PC graphics aren't much better than consoles? (their only advantage?), and consoles have less lag than PC's?, and shorter loading screens?
Yup, looks like you got ninja'd :ninja:

But... but... Todd said "even way better"!!

Could he be lying!?
Nooooooooooooooo :chaos:

/End sarcasm.
No, but really, Todd has said several times that all platforms will "look the same" and that the only difference will be AA, draw distance and scaled up resolutions. Hardly anything that makes the game look... even way better.

Speak for yourself. I, for one, understand priorities. Also, I could give less than a damn about shadows. Most unimportant part of a presentation. For the game that it is, looks pretty darn good to me. Maybe I'm just not a "true" PC gamer though.

It's a composite.. multiple screenshots put together then shrunk down. When shrunk down with a decent quality filter, it created an anti-aliasing and anisotropic-filtering-like effect, which it why the polygon edges and texturing looks more crisp. Given also that the final resolution is higher than what we're used to seeing, it seems to be a one wicked screenshot. But it's really just multiple decent screenshots stitched together and shrunk down.

I'm not bashing PC user's. I'm just saying some of you are fickle bunch....i found it amusing. Those who do have top end computers, might be disappointed and i can understand why. I did not really mean any offence, that's not what i was getting at.

But anyway.

Completely misrepresenting my argument.

First off, no, these screenshots are nowhere near what a proper PC these days can do, so they are not "up to scratch". That, however, is not the same argument as great graphics being important. If great graphics aren't important to you, fine, that's your call. But just because it's not a priority for you doesn't somehow make Skyrim's graphics on-par with what PCs can do.

I agree with you.

Graphics are not all that important to me aslong as it looks decent (oblivion looked decent enough to me).

BUT: I can tell those graphics are definately NOT what a PC could do.

Technically, nothing is on par with what PCs can do.

I don't want to sound a [censored], but that mountain screen, seems too awesome for skyrim. I mean, it would be awesome, but....they already said that they didn't wanted too much difference between versions just higher resolutions, and that photo seems a little touched or with a complete use of light and clouds....don't know, hope im wrong, im not saying that's not a PC screen anyway, im saying that...its to awesome for believing it to be the standard of the PC graphics of a game designed for XBOX.

I agree, the screen featuring the mountain range looks incredible; however, there are quite a few games that look amazing beyond 1920x1080 resolution.

There's no way that that pic is in-game. Absolutely no way.

Somebody said that it's confirmed as in game? Can someone kindly point me towards this confirmation?
