Somebody said that it's confirmed as in game? Can someone kindly point me towards this confirmation?

I asked Pete via Twitter back in January when that screen was released in gameinformer magazine. He said it was indeed a screenshot.
Please don't make me go back 9 months in twitter ...

There's no way that that pic is in-game. Absolutely no way.

Consoles have less lag than PC's?, and shorter loading screens?

Huh? Since when has a Med to High range PC ever lost in FPS and loading time?

Images off a PC would be far superior than any screen shots taken from a console. Lets get real.

No, but really, Todd has said several times that all platforms will "look the same" and that the only difference will be AA, draw distance and scaled up resolutions. Hardly anything that makes the game look... even way better.

If there isn't any advantage to the PC version (other than modding), then they should make the game $5-10 cheaper for PC. That means there is no added value. After all, the platform games are more expensive than PC games because MS and Sony need to get their cut and tack on fees/licensing fees for publishers to make games that will work on their consoles. Many developers don't try and rip off the PC crowd because it's unnecessary since a good portion of their customer base is on console.

Trollolololololol xD
Funny to me because I know a PC fan boy who plays :tes:
So now the PC graphics aren't much better than consoles? (their only advantage?), and consoles have less lag than PC's?, and shorter loading screens?
Yup, looks like you got ninja'd :ninja:

It really depends on what hardware you are playing on. The consoles are based on nearly 6 year old hardware. I can guarantee you that any PC with decent enough specs in the last 4 years will outperform a console. Less loading times on a console? I dont believe you have ever used a 10,000RPM drive let alone a RAMdisk. Also no matter what the PC version will look better. Running at 1920x1080 or higher if your monitor can support that.

So is the fact that folks can't tell the difference between console and PC screens supposed to be a good or bad thing?

If they have released PC screens already as the OP said, that's pretty sad lol......

I'm guessing these two are the only PC screens:

http://images.uesp.net/c/c8/SR-BleakFallsBarrowScene_wLegal.jpg

All the other screens are 1280x720, and would seem to be the Xbox version. Otherwise, if you reduce your PC resolution to 1280x720 and dial down the textures and graphics settings sufficiently, of course, it should look identical to Xbox version. This is the case with any game.

In Australia http://www.ebgames.com.au/search?title=skyrim are selling the PC version for $88, and both consoles are selling at $108.

...but of course mods aren't the only good thing about the PC! Anyone who needs to be convinced of this doesnt know enough to have the conversation.

/shrug Those are both very pretty but not very technically impressive. I still see a lot of very jagged (or even missing) shadows and unimpressive texturing. Are we assuming these are the PC shots because of the resolution? Aside from that fact I would have assumed those were renders from the console engine.

Yes, I'm only guessing they are PC screens based on the fact that the resolutions are 3580x1000 and 1600x900.

Since Pete mentioned that some of the released screens are from PC, and vsions hinted that the mountain landscape pic might not be from console, I imagine these are the two most likely.

Well whether they are or not, the fact that we can't tell is the troubling thing. I still wonder if the meaning in those tweets to call out the fact that PC screens were released and we just didn't know the difference was meant as a good or bad thing. :teehee:

Yeah, see? That's utter BS here in the US. gamesas should be ripping everybody else off too! (Though, I guess at $88AUD, you're getting plenty ripped off.) Checking game.co.uk, their PC version with current exchange rate is like $4 cheaper that here.

Seeing how our economy blows right now they should be giving us a break! (And rippin' off countries that are still in good financial condition. ;)) (Checking ebgames just a moment ago, Xbox360/PS3/PC are all $59.99)

I know, I know...there are a number other advantages, except Steam. Still though, not having a lower price on the PC release is annoying. :swear:
