Lolograms and Nanovision

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 2:19 am

I'm not very good at making my own threads but my thoughts are simply thus: why do holograms appear in nanovision the exact same as uncloaked player units? I do understand that holograms are intended to draw out your enemies fire, and I use them to a very large extent when I am levelling myself from 1-25ish....however I notice that in nanovision they are exactly the same as an uncloaked player. Was this intentional? I kind of view nanovision as an increased awareness for energy consumption tradeoff, but its no help at all determining if your target is a fake and jeapordizes your position. Whether nanovision is SUPPOSED to be reading thermal energy or not, you would think a hologram would show up differently. For now I just assume any player walking in a straight line is a hologram and keep my eyes peeled and keep moving.

Thoughts/Opinions?

Maybe the hologram also projects a false heat signature. It's not something that concerns me as Hologram use is pretty rare- although I like to use them.

It's super hologram. Think if you had one thing that can project those holograms and there were female =.= instead of your or hard trained solder (bua =C~). What do you preferred? Having option like "false heat signature" that make warmer in some ways, or cold-cold hologram... ~)
It's a new feature of the futuristic weapon that can create holograms =)
