The armor is inspired by Mad Max, FO3 and Western movies, so don't tell me it isnt exactly like the Mad Max armor...because it isnt and will never be exactly the same
Will texture it dark leather, the poncho will be the brown poncho worn by CLint Eastwood in the Good the Bad & the Ugly,
will also make some sort of scarf/headwrap thing Max worn in Beyond Thunderdome but then with some sort of goggle and maybe a breathing mask

a mask with goggles, a scarf, and a turban, turban is going to have same texture as the colar thing

Havent looked into that at all yet, normally ingame I dont even look at the DR values I go for looks
but I think a higher DR as the armored vault suit sounds reasonable

Well not really liking that outfit (not into the whole patriot thing thats going on there), but im making some sort of collar which will be same texture as the head wrap
so when its all done someone could easily retexture it to make it look like the patriot armor, hell if I have some spare time left I could even retexture it to make it look a bit like that
only problem is that the main shape of the armor is way different than the patriot armor but well my guess its better than nothing

Ah, I actually just wanted the hood/mask made out of the flag, the rest of the outfit doesn't matter to me at all
I liked your outfit better, so having that flag on my head would be fantastic, even if you don't do that, the general shape of the flag headwrap is pretty cool, so if you like that, I might be able to just make it a flag myself

well my headwrap will be like Max in beyond thunderdome and I will make one like in the concept picture I posted with the goggles and all,
so my guess is both will look pretty cool with a flag texture

Unless you're planning a torn sleeve, which I assume you're not, then how about adding an armored plate on one of the forearms, something like the one on the vanilla leather armor would look really cool I think And how are you planning to do the jacket? Leather maybe?
Also, a Boot knife and ammo belt never hurts

I'm not trying to push ideas on you, just throwing it out in case you like any of them

It has a small ammo belt on the leg, with shotty shells
never liked the merc armor in vanilla FO because it has too much ammo for a world that lacks ammo imo
yes the jacket is going to be leather and im still struggling with the torn of sleeve, cuz I would need to take the arm from FO3 and put it in but how the hell does FO3 know what color arm texture to apply (skin color, ghoul non ghoul etc..)?
and dont know yet about the armored plate on the arm because im still struggling with it , alrdy planning to have metal plating under the jacket so it looks like the guy is wearing armor underneath

i really like it, maybe ad a simple retextured sawn off shotgun for it. already got a name the MAD shotgun

Well, it's your mod after all so you do whatever you want, no matter what you do it is almost guaranteed to be awesome
