Lone Wanderer in Fallout 4

Post » Wed Aug 25, 2010 12:55 pm

I hope you continue playing as the lone wanderer in FO 4 and here are a few suggestions

#1 Start Prologue in D.C but you find a vehicle ,a motorcycle would be [censored] ,but then use it to go to a new city hopefully NYC
#2 Romance subplot with Sarah Lyons or Reilly if your male don't know who to pick if your female and have kids and your kids appearance depends on how you look like with your dad
#3 More Houses ,those are awesome and you'll need them if you have kids
#4 Player character voice over like mass effect
#5 Entrepreneur feature like fable 2 maybe
#6 more followers including the ones you already have

Anybody else have any suggestions ?

Its going to be its own game, all the fallout games are new stories but you hear of what happened in the previous ones. However I like some of your ideas.

1. I like the idea of a romance, It would be cool to have a sub quest where you could get married and have a child. Have them live in your house and such, maybe make you some caps would add a cool factor even if useless. Let you marry unique NPCs or just random people in towns, etc. Maybe even have unique dialogue for special NPC (Example would be Moria, Sarah, silver lol, you get the point.)

2. More houses EXACTLY like in oblivion, would be cool if there was a set up mode and it let you place objects that you collect that way they are the way you want them to be, again useless but awesome.

3. I really like the pet idea in games, fable 2 did it so awesome with the dog. It would be wicked to have a pet from birth and be able to choose out of a few options and have them affect the story.

4.Race choice, and im not talking about black, white, asian I mean Ghoul, human, and whatever weird things there are in fallout and based on what you pick you start in different locations. maybe each "race" gets its own unique main story line however the side missions are all the same, even if the main quest only give you 6 each who cares, you get LOTS of replay value.

5. It would be really nice if during the dialogue you could actually see the face of the character, like mass effect sort of. you put a lot of effort into making a character and you rarely see their face aside from vats? which brings me to my next point.....

6. More customization, Oblivion had an insane ammount however if you were not skilled are your characters turned out like ass, but if you were skilled with it DAMN you can make awesome characters, which is a change from all the ugly people in that game. lol

7. More clothing options, Combat armour is the best aside from power Armour, therefore you have very limited clothing options. You want to look cool and have some dmg resistence so you choose rilleys combat armour, or the stuff T-5b or whatever it is. Even mass effect had cool looking armours, what they lacked in defense it made up in bonus Fallout doesn't do that very well.

Guys I could go on and on and on, im a co creator of a web comic so im sure you could imagine. lol

I think it would be cool to take it back to the old FOs and have it around the NCR or something like that? Maybe the BOS had grown tired of being a second class muscle organization in the NCR, and is now fighting the NCR Rangers etc. for top muscle organization? (I've never played FO1-2, but I do know someone who has, and they've told me about them. And also I've looked up NCR and BOS factions on the Wiki, so that's where I'm getting this idea from. :D)

And maybe just have it be set around 2283 or something still fairly close to when FO3 was rather than several decades later.

Fallout: New Vegas will be set close to the region the original games were set in.

Not necessarily, there are plenty of buildings which are shown to be standing considerably high. In the original Fallout you can see some very high buildings remain throughout Necropolis and huge skyscraqers are seen still standing pretty high in the intro movie of Fallout: Tactics.

Some, mostly destroyed reinforced concrete skyscraqers still standing pretty high is one thing, there still being nearly undamaged pre-war wooden houses is another. Warsaw looked far worse after conventional bombing than DC looks after being hit by nukes in Fallout 3.

Not to mention Fallout 3 was 200 years after the war, not 80 like the original. The exposure alone would have make most those buildings crumble after 200 years.

Please use the Fallout 4 discussion topic, there is no need for two of them.
