Lonesome Road Achievements : Fallout: New Vegas

You can now see the lonesome road achievements on steam:

ED-Ecated
Found all of E-DE's upgrades in the Divide

Condemned to repeat it
Decided the fate of all the Divide dwellers

Hometown Hero
Complete lonesome road

Rocket's Red Glare
Fully upgraded the Divide's signature weapon

Warhead Hunter
Detonated all of the warheads in the Divide

Seems that E-DE will get upgrades.

And I've noticed how most of these achievements look optional. Maybe not though. But yeah, ED-E seems to have upgrades.
I wonder what that signature weapon is..........
Edit: "Rocket's Red Glare". Probably the signature weapon has something to do with rockets or red glares. Or both. It better not just be a unique missile launcher.

The ED-Ecated doesn't particularly thrill me. I prefer running solo, without companions.

"Hometown Hero" pretty much answers what was questioned. the Courier grew up in The Divide.
That's cool that Ed-E get's some upgrades. Also I'm eager to see what "The Divide's Signature weapon" is. ...I get to detonate nukes?!

Edit: @ Mitheledh - No I'm sure they're sticking to the "no companions in DLC's" thing and the "you must walk this road alone". I bet the upgrades are just Holotapes that you give to Ed-e when you come back.

Biggest positive of these showing up: Increased likelihood of release announcement tomorrow.

I don't "roleplay" a lot when I play Fallout, but what are you referring to?

Its so awesome seeing everyone getting so angry over achievements.

I wonder how many [censored] will appear in this forum.

I'm not a good estimator but I assume somewhere along the lines of............67?

I don't "roleplay" a lot when I play Fallout, but what are you referring to?

A lot of players enjoyed being able to specify where the Courier was from, their own backstory, etc. It seems as if the Courier will be getting a fixed backstory with LR though.

EDIT- I can tell I'll be spending a lotta time here, the sig weap looks awesome from what I can see, and I want to detonate all the nukes.

I imagine it's because it's the only companion that doesn't have a real resolution. They just download his files then upgrade a part, and that's it.

How does OWB's give you a fixed personality? The brain without your body is clearly a different being then you are when united. Depending on your karma and previous actions he even has different responses. And there is no reason to believe Hometown Hero refers to the Courier. Maybe you save the hometown hero, maybe you kill the hometown hero. Maybe the citizens of the town declare you an honorary resident. Or maybe the place is simply called "Hometown" and has no other name.

Is the DLC possibly Enclave linked with ED-E getting more upgrades. Probally isn't, but Old Worlds and enclave tech being upgraded seems fishy.

It has nukes so it is all good, maybe an experimental mirv

Rockets Red Glare is from the national anthem, so i think it is about rockets but thats just why its called that
