Lonesome Road won't be released this month. Thread #3

Technically then it would be beyond their control and they could still work on getting it out ASAP.

And if there is indeed work they're doing to get it out as quickly as possible, why was this work not done before the delay could even occur?

Well, I guess i shouldn't say TES, I should say Oblivion. You see, there are a frighteningly large amount of people who played and liked Fallout 3 solely because of its Oblivion-style mechanics and gameplay, they didn't care about the series proper, most of them hated Fallout: New Vegas because it wasn't Oblivion-styled, it tried to be more true to the series proper, and they hate that, they don't want Fallout to be Fallout, they want it to be Oblivion: Wasteland, an alternate franchise with the same mechanics and gameplay as Oblivion. There are people who want Fallout to change to better suit the Oblivion-style play, but I'd prefer the gameplay change to better suit Fallout.

No, I want Obsidian gone because they're sub-par developers. Has nothing to do with wanting Oblivion with a Fallout skin.

does anyone know if dlcs have to be scheduled for release so far ahead of time or can they be released at short notice? like if theres only so many dlc packs microsoft/sony will put up on live/psn in a week? maybe the market is just too crowded at the originally slated time..

Uhmmm... Idk, maybe because Steam released the acheivements early? Kinda hard to work on the problem when it hasn't risen yet.
